// Austin, TX-based band Mother Falcon is working with Escape Plan Productions to produce the official music video for the track “Serpent Tongues” off their debut album Alhambra. The video is currently nearing the end of its pre-production stages and shooting is scheduled for the end of January with an expected release in early 2012.
Jonny Greenwald, director, explains his interpretation: “My hope is to make something that harkens to the epics of ancient times but to tell it using modern techniques and inspirations. Mother Falcon has been really supportive of our ideas and it’s exciting to be able to work with such a creative group of individuals. The team we’ve assembled is incredibly talented and I can’t wait to see the final product.”
Escape Plan Productions, a film & digital video production based in Austin, TX, will be producing the music video. They have previously worked on the music videos for “Eden 2.0” by TesseracT and “Empyrean” by Ganesh Rao earlier this year.
Mother Falcon is an orchestral band ensemble musical group who play a combination of classical and folk with the aesthetics and mentality associated with indie music through a soundscape of strings, brass, and drums with a modern sensibility. Varying from ten to over twenty members of the band performing at each show, the large group is set to perform at the 2012 SXSW Music Festival this spring.
